Regency Residence Sky Active Living Celebrates the Remarkable Resident of Many Unique Accomplishments
Regency Residence Sky Active Living is thrilled to announce the many unique accomplishments of our cherished resident, Leon. This life journey represents not only a personal accomplishment of Leon but also a celebration of life, longevity, and the rich history embodied by our community’s members.
Leon, born on June 05, 1926, has witnessed extraordinary changes and developments. From the roar of the 1920s to the digital revolution, his life story is a tapestry of personal and historical milestones. Leon was born in Virginia Beach, VA and was first introduced to aviation by his father, who was in the Navy and flew patrol bombers. Leon started building model airplanes when he was about 9 years old and later went to work for the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (now called NASA). He later enlisted in the Air Force and then retired to Florida. He designed several models of different sailplanes and won contests naming him the National Champ! Seven of his models and blueprints have been published in magazines.
In honor of Leon’s unique accomplishments, Regency Residence Sky Active Living is excited to showcase Leon’s life story and all the many unique accomplishments of Leon.
“We are honored to share in this joyful voyage and to recognize the remarkable journey that Leon has traveled,” says Ashley, Director of Sales and Marketing.
Regency Residence Sky Active Living is committed to providing exceptional care and a nurturing environment for all its residents. Celebrating milestones like these highlights the community’s dedication to honoring and respecting the lives and stories of those it serves.
